I should be talked into it
Neighbor is selling his Uberti Henry 1860 Lever Gun in 45LC
Says it's never been fired and he's looking for about $700 for it
I've bought .357 Lever and a .22 Lever in the last couple of months and 45 LC would be a new caliber to keep stocked
but it is very pretty stock photo of the model

Shame I am not rich then it would be a no brainer
Anyone ever shoot one? Should I re-consider?

These sell for $800-$1000 on gunbroker. At $700, if you don't like it you won't loose money selling it later.

$700 is a steal. Used ones usually go for $1000, so no money lost if you don't like it. I have one with the iron frame in 44-40, love that rifle. Short-stroke kits work on them, too.

I don't have a single lever platform in my collection. And I do have 45 LC revolvers. Hmmm.

I agree adding another caliber can be a pain. Especially if you can't sleep well when not adequately stocked with ammo. I'd take it for that price in a second though. I've been wanting to add a lever gun to my collection for a while and that does seem like a great price.

Do not turn this down for $700. I paid over $1000 for mine brand new in .45LC. It will eat the center out of the target.
