A preview of the new TV ad, which will begin running Monday!
    Watch it here

    The email says

The ad speaks of how Maryland's fingerprint licensing of handgun purchasers will save lives and serve as a model for the nation. The law and those who voted for it will be attacked by the gun lobby and their friends. We need to have the resources to educate the public and mount an effective defense... and we can't do that without you! and then they ask for money!

Never mind they can't show any evidence to substantiate those claims! But the sheeple will most likely believe it as truth and then open their wallets. :mad54:

I wish I had money to donate but I spent it all on new guns.

Seriously, that is sickening. And the stupid people in this state are going to believe it. I'll keep contributing to NRA, SAF, and MSI.

How much is it to make air a commercial?
With all the angry members on here I am sure we could raise enough money to air something too.

Well, for the Referendum crowd. Here comes the opposition that will be faced. It will be big money funding it. How will we compete with that? I'll let the Pro-Referendum group answer that. McDonough and Payne made the war cry and the opposition has answered it. Maybe they can help organize the funds to counter this. Maybe McDonough can serve a third master? :sad20: Maybe Bloomberg will help us............ Oh, that's right, he's backing the other side with his millions. So it begins.

Well, at least you can have another year to buy all the guns you want. That seems to be the answer I have received, even from the MDS member at the Hagerstown Gun Show collecting petition signatures at the door.

    Where they send me.
That was so wrong and stupid I think I need to take a shower.

I think I need to get stickers made up in the VA is for Lovers (silly slogan) style but instead read Maryland is for Morons, or maybe Maryland is for Maggots.
If you did it well, I'm sure many would think it's a good thing in some twisted way.

Also, I now have the urge to join that bishops church just so I could then quit.

Hey that was one of the stroller moms, remember them? The 6 that went down there and got media coverage. And she was also in the gallery the night they started final debate in the house... Maybe that 90% number requires that much recycling of characters...

    And so it begins...

It's worth it to look at their board of directors to see how we could put some pressure on them or those who support them. Some you won't be able to touch since they insulated. However, the religious leaders and those with real jobs we could possibly have an impact upon:

    Board of Directors

    Art Abramson, Ph.D.
Executive Director of the Baltimore Jewish Council

    Honorable Rushern L. Baker, III
County Executive of Prince George’s County

    Fred Bealefeld
    Former Baltimore City Police Commissioner

    Constance Caplan
    Civic and business leader

    Honorable Josh Cohen
Mayor of the City of Annapolis

    Lisa Delity
Prince George’s Activist and sister of FBI agent slain by an assault weapon

    Vincent DeMarco
    President of the Board

    Sandy Ferguson
Director of Connectional Ministries, Baltimore-Washington Conference of the United Methodist Church

    Professor Larry S. Gibson
University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law

    Honorable Parris Glendening
    Former Governor of Maryland

    Dr. Alex Haller
Former Director of Pediatric Trauma, Johns Hopkins Hospital

    Sean Johnson
Director of Legislative and Political Affairs, Maryland State Education Association

    Honorable Ike Leggett
    County Executive of Montgomery County

    Bishop Douglas Miles
    Koinonia Baptist Church

    Kurt D. Newman, MD
President and CEO, Children’s National Medical Center

    Michael A. Pretl
    Eastern Shore community leader

    Honorable Stephanie Rawlings-Blake
    Mayor of Baltimore City

    Justin Ross
Prince George’s County Community Leader and former State Delegate

    Gerald Stansbury
President of the Maryland State Conference of NAACP Branches

    Gustavo Torres
    Executive Director, CASA Maryland

    Kathleen Kennedy Townsend
    Former Lieutenant Governor of Maryland

google is your friend, I am not.
i find it curious that they chose to focus on the fingerprinting part.

100% of hunters i talk to don't want their fingerprints in a govt database, so i do not know where that 68% figure comes from.

    Don't do it Lou!

Tell me again how this new law takes guns outta the hands of criminals? I didn't see anything in there that does that... All I see is further infringement on law abiding citizens. Grrrrrrrrrr!!!
