I've seen Baltimore Co PD folks rocking them and I really like the 1911 grip angle and dovetail in that basic striker-fired package. They're cheap on Bud's and I'm thinking of picking one up as a potential .357 Sig project.

Does anyone here have one and what do they think of them, good, bad, or ugly?

Have the fnx version which is hammer. Really like it. Well put together, comfortable and cannot recall one malfunction. Want to replace sights but besides that an impulse buy that has rewarded me for once.

A BCPD friend likes his duty gun. I think he has an off duty one as well. They are well made pistols. If you like 40S&W, you might like it. Can .357sig barrels be found for it?

Yes they can, there are a couple barrel manufacturers that make them. I just like the sci-fi "polymer 1911" aesthetic, especially for a simple striker-fired gun. I'm glad to hear that they seem to shoot as well as they look.

I'm really happy with my fns-9.

But unhappy that there is very little aftermarket support for trigger upgrades.

I have one, the gun is pretty accurate and got it for a steal from 2a 2 years ago.I wasn't going to buy it but the price made me, now I'm glad I did.

I have it for duty purposes and like it. You’ll probably need some time to get used to the aggressive grip texturing.
