Their probably just leery of "English" people.

They were a little friendlier to locals but not much. So we stop at the diner in Richland to get lunch. The waitress says to us that we must be “shooters”. We’re like how in the heck does she know that. It took us about three seconds to figure out that she saw our MD license plate. There’s no other reason for a Marylander to go to Richland, PA except to go to the gun shop unless you knew a resident (unlikely).

They are a good shop for hard-to-get magazines. I feel that they are somewhat overpriced. I haven't been to the new location.

Over priced is an understatement! The last time (and did I mention that will be the last time) that I went in looking for Glock 33 round mags and their price was $60. Needless to say I did not even look at anything else and walked out.

Yup, this is on target. Charges gouging magazine prices.

Are the gun racks at Gunbunker behind the counter? Do you have to ask to look at rifles?

    Thanks,

The handguns are typically in glass cases. There are rifle racks along the walls available for fondling, and some rifles behind the counter.

I was trying to be nice. Last time I went there, they had exterior cameras looking for Maryland plates. I'm sure that affected the price of magazines. Tried to sell me a polytech m14 for an ungodly price. I've since found some places in central PA that don't play those games and formed some awesome relationships, since I travel to upstate NY once a year.

Any thoughts on this show for AR uppers/bbls? I am looking to swap a pistol bbl to .300AAC and the usual suspects online (PA, JBO, MW, etc.) are either low on stock, or have only overpriced race bbl or bargain basement junk....

I'm planning to have breakfast at New Freedom Cracker Barrel somewhere between 0730 and 0745 if anyone else is stopping in. I will have on my Vietnam Vet hat and probably be wearing a camo field jacket.
