I believe she said she was the head of the new Annapolis chapter of Moms Demand Attention.

Clearly she's new to public speaking - read canned talking-points from a page, crackly voice, spoke waaayy too fast ... to the point that the moms-to-the-left-of-me were complaining that they couldn't understand.

I think there are more reasons than can't hear to explain why they can't understand...:innocent0

The best was the NRA=KKK guy. Maybe he's right and white guys are the problem.

And I'm getting tired of Bishop Carroll's "It's not about the Second Amendment. Nobody wants to take your guns." Seriously ?! Have you read the agendas of your Task Farce?!

    See you next Wednesday!

If they are talking then maybe they are interested in the facts & truth . The people that are rabid will never change the people on the fence may be the ones that understand the importance of facts .

Did Angry Andrea [Chamblee] invite you over for some box-wine?

Box wine. Not for wine connoisseurs. Only for serious alcoholics.

Wine should always be presented in a bottle; uncorked and savored. Idiots drinking box wine out of a plastic spigot have no culture. Or self respect. :sad20:

Not right now. I believe that what I said, about the need to focus a "Gun Violence Task Force" on suicide , 65% of gun violence was heard.

Nevertheless, the TF is totally dominated by the Mom's and other anti groups. Their final report will almost certainly call for long gun background checks, increased storage requirements, and other feel good measures that will do nothing to affect gun violence.

Still, it's important to let them know we're watching.

And, if I can get some help, I'm thinking of drafting a minority report.

See you all Wednesday evening at AAMC.

In response to widespread criticism — including from the Editorial Board of Capital Gazette — on September 17th the AACo Task Farce conducted their first (and only) hearing dedicated solely to “Public Comment” at Anne Arundel Community College.

The video recording of that “Public Comment” hearing is below, and lasts about an hour

What’s revealing in the video above is how insulting the professional political Dems can be in their desire to exert total control in this farce, by how little respect is shown to the Chairman of the AACo GVPTF, Bishop Charles Carroll.

Bishop Carroll does not even preside here over the “citizen task force” he was originally appointed to lead.

Instead, an “Ex Officio” member of the TF, Jennifer Purcell, takes possession and control of the microphone - - and the entire hearing - - for herself.

Ms. Purcell is the Chief of Staff to AACo Chief Executive Steuart Pittman, not an appointed “citizen member” of the TF.

This suggests anti-gun Pittman & Co. are growing very annoyed that Bishop Carroll’s approach is not rapidly and inexorably leading the TF to its pre-determined Party-dictated gun ban “conclusion” - - thus he cannot be trusted to chair the TF “Public Comment” hearing.

Bishop Carroll is being used, and the Dems don’t care how humiliating it becomes.

Bishop Carroll speaks for a few minutes at the very end of the video after he asks for the microphone to speak for himself.

He repeated what he has said since the first meeting of the TF: I’ll meet and talk with anyone who can stop the murder in his community. Also, the TF is “not about taking away people’s guns.”

Am so sorry i cant attend, again. These events are really some great fun. As was noted above, it is indeed important to let them know that we're watching. And yes, if you find a fence sitter, it is possible to talk sensibly with them.

I encourage everyone who can attend to do so. Even if all you do is sit in the gallery not wearing a Mad Mommy tee shirt, it helps.

AC is upset with all of you dumb redneck hicks that testified last week for using your time to complain about lack of representation on the Task Farce.

And apparently she thinks there is a tunnel across the bay near Annapolis, or at least a portion of one.

I personally have driven a family member’s car back from the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Tunnel police station near Annapolis. I have listened to a man trying to take the car from John a few days later, without paying for it, yell “I know what happened to your brother!” I cringe when public comments to the taskforce inform me that a person can also end his life by leaping to his death from a bridge. We don’t need to be reminded. But we try not to let them see us cringe.

This paragraph is a little disjointed and rambling, I'm sure that it's just the Carboardeaux kicking in.
