Came across this video on Youtube. Seems to take place in Montana. Do we have anything nearby that seems to be a long walking course of fire for muzzleloaders?

One of my co workers does that, they have a place just West of Winchester.
But they do travel to other states for Rendezvous.
They shoot BP rifles & pistols, throw knives & tomahawks and primative camping.
He even makes flintlock guns and sells them..
I will get the name of the group and post it.
I'll PM you his phone #, if he says it's OK.

We have a muzzleloading club near Ingelside, MD on the Eastern Shore. They have matches once a month and also have weekly rifle building meets. They have woods walks shoots as well as regular paper shoots. It isn't expensive to join but I forget the name of the damn place. It's Fort something or other.

It is located on a farm and you will need a four wheel drive to get to the club house if it has rained or snowed in any amounts. Great bunch of guys over there.

There is a big Rendezvous and shoot coming up at the end of the month, April 27th & 28th, at Fort Frederick, just West of Hagerstown.
There will be a lot of traders/venders there. My co worker will be handing out fliers for his clubs next shoot at Fort Shenandoah.

Yes. Fort Shenandoah is the North-South Skirmish Association's national range. Civil War arms. At Nationals (and a few other matches), there are artillery matches.

    Yep

Was out visiting a friend in Dillon MT and we went to Bannack for it's
    Bannack Days event

Walking around town my son and I found a bunch of these guys dressed up with their flintlocks. They were offering anyone to shoot some of those beauties. Don't you know we both shot. My son pinged the edge of a steel plate approx 100 yds. but Dad had to nail it dead on.
    Oh a big ass steel plate - maybe 3' x 3' :innocent0

Now try that at a Maryland state event. :lol2:

I was at a black powder day at my local range and an old timer had a nice Flintlock .45 he built that he brought. He let me take the first shot because I was admiring it so much. He loaded, and I picked it up and shot it off hand at a target at 50 yards. Drilled it right through the x with his first shot through the gun and my first shot of the day off hand. Everyone was blown away when we finally checked the target.
