I'm not a bit pistol guy but a coworker is looking for magazines for his new VP9 and he's only found promag. Are they reliable in the HK? Does anyone know (besides factory) any mags that are worth him looking at? TIA

No dont believe there is any others. I own a VP9 and thats its downfall is mags and availability special in the great state of Maryland.

ProMag and HK? You may have better luck than I did with my USP .45, but in my experience - might as well go to the strip club and throw that money away. It'll be better spent.

As has been said above, no luck with anything but HK in my VP9. I love my VP9 but that is the only issue. Good thing there are a lot of places over the border in the free world selling them. The Chantilly shows always have a guy in the back that sells them for a good price, I grab one or two every time I go to the show.

Remind him that the P30 uses the same mag. It may be cheaper and easier to find one that way.
