Hello, I have a black powder 12 inch mini cannon that I would like someone to identify and tell me it’s approximate value. It’s been at my house for years and I finally decide to to learn more about it. It was a gift from many years ago.
    Any help is most appreciated!!

Sorry I don't know anything about cannon, but I find the "flaming pisspot" (US Army 'Ordinance' bomb emblem) an odd thing to see there.

Saw the thread title, and I was thinking 12 inch bore !

But over the years there have been a gazillion 12in OAL mini cannons , from a gazillion different different retailers and importers . If there aren't any obvious markings , it is needle > haystack if someone recognize that specific one . For a starting point , google up what's currently available and guess from there as to value .

Google Lyle Guns, for shooting lines.
    Good luck!

Oh nevermind, didn't realize how small it was.

That's a banned military grade weapon of mass destruction.

I recommend you delete your post before the Letter Agencies show up at 5:00 am.

    It doesn't look functional.

The odd additions on the sides are like nothing seen on any real gun.

It looks like some decoration meant to sit on a bookshelf.

Is it functional and rifled? If it's decorative and not functional, it's not worth a whole lot. Possibly made in Spain if it's functional. The vintage rifled Spanish ones that are functional can sell for around $150-$200 and they're smaller than 12". Newer ones that shoot are cheaper but it all depends on if it works or not.
