I've been using a inexpensive Lyman front rest with leather bag and rear rabbit ear leather rest for years. I'm looking for an up grade; particularly a front rest that can accommodate or is adjustable for rifle fore ends of varying widths (ie. wide benchrest type to slim lever action fore end).
I'm not really interested in a lead-sled or anything of that nature.
I'm trying to keep under $250.

    Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I bought one made by I belive MTG from Cabellas for just under 50 bucks.
It is fully adjustable for bolt guns to ar's and even pistol. Has center compartment for adding lead or sand if wanting to. It's made of heavy duty plastic. Been using it for a few years with no complaints or problems.:)

Hart or Sinclair International for a couple of the best, though the Caldwell rest bags look very comfortable. I use the 12 pound Hart pedestal rest, but the Sinclair option has some definite upgrades.
