    I call it the 22-49, it is a ruger 10/22 dressed up to look like an MK46 SAW. The fake drum hides the 50 round .22 drum for the Ruger.

    it's been done by others, with varied results. alot of people don't move back the pistol grip, so you can't mount the original ammo box. I specifically wanted to do this so the 50 round promag drum would fit. I originally was going to use a black dog, but the angle was too steep. It will still fit, just not with the mock ammo box. Others don't put the front sight/ gas system back on, and i can see why as there was alot of fitting/ shimming. I know those aszholes at fastfire make a kit, but they want upwards of 500 for it without the MGO or rails. As shown I probably have 400 into it including the rifle.
