Not sure of the damage yet.

I know the folks at Habib's have been going through a real rough time lately. Rumor right now is that it was only smoke damage there. The fire seemed to have been through Jin's Bistro. (my go to place when I have a cold and need a good Tom Yum soup).

Thai classic was 1000 times better. I wish it was still there.

I agree. I loved their panang curry. Their lemongrass soup was better as well. JIn's is still not bad, though. For Eldersburg asian...

    Still, I hope they recover.

Man I saw serious action on Liberty and 32 last night, guess now I know why. Good luck to all involved.

That seriously sucks. Habib's is great. This compounds the personal battle their going through.

Crews made a good knock on it. Initially they had fire through the roof, it appeared to me that while there was some extension in to neighboring stores on the second floor, the bulk of the fire on the first floor appeared to have been contained to jin's. Situation was a bit of a PITA due to some of the fire hoses freezing.

I drove past it today too, looked like the consignment shop wasn't burned, but I wouldn't be surprised if all their inventory was ruined by smoke.

The whole center is a writeoff, for sure. dist1646, I hope your friend's brother had decent insurance on the place.

    Maybe - I didn't look very closely.

There have been too many small businesses shutting their doors lately, here in Eldersburg. It's a real shame.
