We deployed with two companies together and did one combined group buy. I think we bought 42 of them if I remember correctly. Colt was pretty easy to deal with.

First 1911. Got it today from 2A Sales and put 150 fmj rounds through it without any hiccups. Really accurate and soft shooter. Now I have to figure out what I need to sell to get another 1911 9mm in commander size. :)

    Thanks road dawg,

I wat to put night sights on, have you done this?

I have night sights on other pistols and have decided that I don't really care for them in a home defense scenario. The glow from the night sights bothers me in the dark. I believe that it tells the bad guy where you are. And if you pass by the bad guy while checking out a dark room, that is a huge disadvantage for you. Just like flashlights attached to the rail, they have the potential to telegraph your position to your foe.

I trained with a flashlight and pistol in LE ... And it was said that bad guys tend to try to shoot out the light when they don't want to be found. If that happens... You must ask yourself... What is directly behind your flashlight? If it is your head or torso... You need to change the way you approach. We were trained to hold the light out and way from the body and only use it in short bursts. And I feel the same about lasers that do not have a touch button type switch so it only illuminates while the switch is pressed.

Be careful with those tacticool lights they can work for AND against you.
