Was shopping for some Mosin food, and came across this. Came on stripper clips in a bandolier, and have what appears to be a cupro-nickel jacket. Bullet attracts a magnet. Head stamp dates it 1939, but after some research i'm still stumped as to where it came from.

    Any ideas?

(I apologize in advance for the picture quality.....best I can do with my phone...)

(And yes....I know its not 7.62x54r. I purchased for the cool factor because its something I haven't seen before.)
