Here is one that is a two faced liar. He needs to hear from all of us, regardless if you live in his district.

OK, I called mine, JB Jennings who is on board, and Mike Miller's office. Funny, I did not even have to tell the lady in Miller's office why I was calling, she told me. If nothing else we need to keep hammering them.

Just called Middleton's office - told the lady that I'd like the senator to vote for the damn filibuster this time.

Yeah, I called his office too. Reminded them that he was totally opposed to registration at his town hall meeting. Reminded them that he voted to keep registration in during their committee talks. Said I did not understand the change of mind. Reminded them that he needs to vote against this bill. I was told he would be given the message.

I just called Brochin's office. Guess it was a good sign it took me a few times befroe I got through. So I guess we are keeping the phones busy. Anyway, I spoke to a very nice young lady and told her to ask him not to throw us under the bus again and to vote against SB281. I told her it was his last chance to redeem his self. I am not holding out hope though.

For Brochin and all the others, make sure and tell them you expect them to vote against cloture (for filibuster) and against the bill. In reality, the vote for filibuster is more important than the vote for or against the bill. Miller has the votes to pass the bill, but a minority can stop a bill with filibuster.

And you may be right, But you tried. When their minds will really change is come next election we are still fired up and go to the poles to vote these people out of office. Then they will remember what they did in 2013. And then maybe their replacements will listen more to the people that put them there.

    Phone Calls completed!

Fortuneately, my State Senator (District 6) Norman Stone is against SB281 and has repeatedly voted against it. Unfortuneately, he is in the minority.

It's busy and goes to voicemail when I try. Giving it another shot in a few minutes.

    EDIT: Finally got through...

    Is this email to forthcoming?

James, please do not vote for Cloture and then turn around and vote NO to the bill. A vote for Cloture is a vote for SB281. If I see a Cloture vote, I will personally get the word out to every single voter in District 42. I along with many others are prepared to knock on doors in order to inform your constituents exactly what Cloture is and why it’s not a good thing.

You have to be smart enough to know SB281 will not hold up in the court system. Do your young career a favor and wash your hands of it. Vote No and don’t vote for Cloture.

    Thank you

Just called Middleton's office - told the lady that I'd like the senator to vote for the damn filibuster this time.

Called and asked him to defend us this time. Also sent this and posed all over facebook:

    Honorable Mac Middleton,

The last time the senate filibustered SB281, a bill you empatically stated you voted against, you voted for cloture. Most people realize this was more politics at Annapolis, and not consistent with what you told your constituents. You now have a rare opportunity to not yield to the political will of the Governor and actually represent the will of the people you represent. I urge you mos sincerely to not vote to end the senate filibuster this time.

Most people don't get a second chance to fix a wrong deed. Please don't let us down again.

    Sincerely,

    Thomas Greco
