Hi folks! A couple of you gave me some great help on C&R laws a few months ago, and now we're finally in MD and getting settled. Thanks again for the warm welcome!
Been out here two months and haven't been to the range yet It was a bonus to find Gilbert Indoor while we were house hunting. Now I just need to make time to get there.
I've had a little training over the past few years, including a one-on-one handgun course, a weekend course through my Krav Maga association at the Surefire Institute in LV, and half a dozen trips to the range. Not trying to name drop, but just so you know we're I'm coming from. Not a total noob, but just starting out (used to shoot .22 rifle with my dad as a kid, but it was a one-off, more than a regular thing). But now I've got the bug.
So...I've Googled around, but I'm looking for recommendations for instructors or schools in the area. I don't mind driving to VA for good training. Based on what I've had so far, I'm looking for something like an intro to competitive shooting. I know some of you will say "Just go to a match and try," but I know we'll all be better off if I get a class in first
Thanks, shooters!
