Don't know anyone up that far. Whoever you get make sure they use the "XRF" machine. That way if you are "lead free" you don't have to test again. Any other test else and you have to test between each tenant.

    Good luck.

I use a woman in Waldorf, probably too far for you. I think its AA Acclaim. The MDE has a list of approved inspectors. Just note, that a lead free inspection costs thousands, and a continual cert is about $100.00.

I find the whole thing to be ridiculous. I completely rehabbed a property, but since the foundation was set in 1943, I had to place it into the lead program.

Legislatures think these fees are paid by landlords. I just pass it on. It just adds to the unaffordability of housing.

I had no idea what the lead inspection costs but I can tell you what it'll cost if some F'g crack whore has a baby while living in a house that may or may not be lead contaminated.

Never seen an XRF Lead test for more than $600 (2014) and that was because the house was large (6 bedrooms/8 baths) about 4,000 square feet in Calvert County. That inspector drove from Frederick, MD.
