I use an H2 buffer and have a Tubb flatwire spring in my 10.5. It does not have an adjustable gas block, but cycles supers and subs just fine. Subs I only shoot suppressed. Im not sure if they cycle unsuppressed.

Only advantage I see in the SCS is in full length rifle buffers. I have one in my 20" gun. Super smooth and super quiet (no 'sproing' sound). None in any of my SBRs.

+1 I agree with you. I couldn't stand the noise from my original spring in my 20" AR with full length buffer. I got the JP and with the spacer it's smooth and quiet.

In my carbines I run springco red or blue springs and an H2 or Spikes ST-T2 buffer.
