Add NY to the list of No-Go, if you haven't already...

What a twisted and messed up system. Add NY to my 'never visit' places, along with CA. Even if national reciprocity passes, I will bet that NY will ignore it, just as they do with other federal laws that don't fit their sick agenda....

Well, they broke the law. We have crappy laws here but that doesn't mean out of if towners can ignore them.

I’m planning to go to the 9/11 memorial and museum in the next few weeks - after that, I doubt that I’ll ever voluntarily visit there again.

I've been to New York once, drove through to ship a car and then to the plane to Greece when my wife PCSed. That was in the early 80s, that was enough for me.

jailed for having an empty magazine. that's just friggin ridiculous. yeah i have zero interest in new york or new jersey, sure there is an empty mag or a hollow point floating around in each of my vehicles somewhere that could put me in jail.

it'd be funny if it weren't so sad, all these anti-gun states all have high crime rates and yet they want to infringe and beat on otherwise law-abiding citizens.

When I drive to Maine (usually have firearms in the truck), I drive WAY AROUND NYC simply for the traffic avoidance. Looks like now I have a way better reason to skip that craphole.

NJ can easily be avoided in its entirety. But you have to pass thru NYS one way or the other to reach NH or ME .

Guns are obviously not the same as vehicle modifications, but it reminds me of the state police in GA who will pull over and ticket any out of state vehicle with tint that is too dark for the state of GA. :rolleyes:
