My father has a Model 10 that he would like to have double action trigger pull reduced on. He lives in Fredericksburg, VA and I live in Pasadena. Any suggestions on who to take the gun to that will do a good job at a reasonable price?

Dry fire it about a thousand times.

The gun is 30 years old and I am sure it has many more than 1000 rounds through it already. Do you really believe that dry firing it over and over will make a noticeable difference? Is there any harm that can be caused bydry firing that many times?

Only if you don't use snap caps. However, Sam Hatfield does good work on revolvers, I'm going to take my GP100 to him after he's done with my RIA 1911.
