There is a question and answer session on the state Red Flag law tonight at 7PM at the AAPD Southern District headquarters in Edgewater.

    I'm going. Anyone else?

    It’s a trap!

However, it would be good to know if firearms are or have been returned.

Does the law state there is an opportunity to turn firearms in or just the 5:00 am knock on the door method.

Is any data available to the public such as how many served, how many turned down by judge etc.

Otherwise given the GB incident it is obvious how the law works.

I can hold your guns for safe keeping :innocent0

See how nice the people are here on MDS. Best bet is to split up firearms and Ammo ... I have a truck :)

    Another curiosity: why this meeting?
Never are there meetings on things like the Lone Ranger law , passing lane or the ‘13 crap, or pocket knives/fixed blade/FA knives.

I might borrow the neighbors car and go. I don’t mean to be pokin fun at your thread John, thanks, so please let us know how it goes .... once your released. :)
One day I’ll get sent to band camp for poor humor.

I had thought about going, just to ask some inflammatory questions and to to illustrate how utterly ridiculous this law is. (I imagine) nobody there had anything to do with crafting this horrible law, and those are the folks who really need to have their asses kicked.

If someone weren't a threat BEFORE confiscation, it's hard to imagine that they'd be less of a risk AFTERWARDS. And if a PERSON is that much of a threat, shouldn't the PERSON be locked up, instead of his stuff? Questions in that vein, probably would have gotten me thrown out and put on yet another list.

    AA county
Ask them if they know the meaning of the 4th Amendment.

Ask them if they considered telling the State to **** off like so many Sheriffs around the country.

You input will help the AA county gun violence prevention task force to formulate the list of priority confiscation candidates.

next meeting will be to discuss how to get 80% weapons registered and have a sign in with q and a.
    I won't be there either.

side note. I wonder if all the IP addresses, email credentials etc... from this forum have been logged yet?

I would not be surprised if someone has a list of every time the credit card company sees charge from a vendor whose name references 80%s. Luckily I have never made one and have my HQL like a good boy.
