Single shot, low cost, break open gun. Are these good quality? Might make a good small game or survival gun. But I know their handguns are not so great.
An Iver Johnson single shot .410 was the first shotgun I ever shot. Took a lot of clay pigeons and some woodchucks with that gun back when. It was ancient and had the crap beaten out of it, but never hiccuped.
Just make sure the lockup and fit is good and you'll be fine. You don't want any looseness at lockup, no gaps in the frame/receiver. Everything should fit reasonably tight.
I'm still using the one I got when I was 12. They are pretty indestructible. Have taken many a rabbit and squirrel with that over the years and plan on giving it to my daughter.
