BA Doesn't offer chrome lined I don't think, at least not on the website. It's most likely nitride. Is it a shiny dark black? Phosphate is a matte type finish. Most nitride is almost a little glossy and more reflective.

Got any pics of the rifle/upper? A

As above poster mentioned, if its BA it's good to go.

I am glad to hear all of this. Perhaps all of this Hanover Armory talk is for naught. They are indeed great folks.

My HA-15 has a BA barrel, it's not chrome-lined and no markings saying it's H-bar but definitely looks H-bar.
