    Hello,
I have a NDS receiver that I bought a long time ago when they first became available. When some Hungarian AMD-47 parts kits were imported, I bought one and put it aside. Does anyone have any experience modifying the back part of an AK47 receiver to accept the folding wire stock of an AMD-65? I looked for drawings online but couldn't find any that had dimensions.
    Thanks for any help.

I just did one. Cut the notch for the hinge, drilled the rivet and bottom holes as well. The hinge notch I marked off of the hinge location when inserted into the receiver, up to contact. I did the cuts with a dremel wheel and grinder bit on the conservative side, then file to fit. Works well.

Thanks for the info. Did you just cut and file to fit or cut to certain dimensions?
When I looked at the receiver, it looked like all I would need to do is cut the notch out of the right side and drill some holes, but I didn't know how accurate they had to be.
