Yeah, I still ordered after an internal debate of 3.25 vs 6.5 MOA dot (I went with the 6.5). Expected ship date is June 19. Will mount on my Q5 Match.

The comments were mainly referring to the need to put some tape or shoe goo under the battery. I have 2 Rmrs and haven't had problems. I do like the DP but it does raise the profile of the gun as it is a very tall sight. As I was unconvinced the new RMR was revolutionary, I bought another one.

Good to hear. Although mounting material under the battery, or even this $10 option noted in the aforementioned discussion comments ...

would likely mitigate any potential on/off issue, I found the LDP at a good price ($320 shipped from Lanbo's) and in stock such that I cancelled the Cabela's order that I had. I did think that the profile of the Trijicon RMR looked more appealing.
