Just did the survey. I hope they don't filter out all our answers by IP address, given we're outside their city limits.

    SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED.

The City of San Carlos, which recently passed a ban on firearm retailers opening in the city (putting a new Turner's store that they had already given a permit to operate out of business before it could open) has resorted to doing an online survey on gun control laws. Most people are not be aware of this survey, but it seems that the rabidly anti-gun promoters found a way to alert the anti-gun crowd through word of mouth or private email lists.
Please take the survey, and share this so other do too..

I'm confused, isn't a ban on firearms retailers one of the many cases where Chicago's terrible legal arguments went down in flames in the courts? How are these tools passing bans that the courts have already ruled are illegal? Can everyone living in the area now try to open a gun shop and sue the city for 6 or 7 figures when the city denies?

If you click on the feedback tab, it shows the survey results.
I don't think that they got the results that they were looking for, but that won't stop them from passing what they "know" is best for their subjects, I mean citizens.

If you don't mind a mild headache, click the "Show Word Cloud" link at the bottom of the Feedback page, and you can read all of the submitted comments. Some are "magical."
Regulating firearms is an important way that we can improve everyone’s safety. Better regulated firearms prevents accidental firearm discharges, reduces self inflicted injuries and will reduce the need for self defense.
