I've always wanted a 10 Gauge and I've been offered one. I'm looking at a "Mercury Magnum" Model G-1032 10-Gauge SXS. Looks to be in pretty good shape. No noticeable wear, dents or other issues. The barrels are 32" long with 3 1/2" chambers and both are full choked.

I know a lot of the Spanish guns are of questionable quality so I was wondering if this would be a decent shotgun to shoot and take out Turkey hunting when it comes in season.

The seller wants $500 which seems to be at the high end of value but I may be able to get it for a little less.

Be careful. My dad had one that he bought back in the 80's and about every third time he shot it both barrels fired at once. It definitely put a hurting on his shoulder.

10ga really isn't all that bad when the gun is set up properly. My 10ga is shorter than my wifes 20ga super bantam. With proper weight distribution and a good recoil pad I like shooting the 10 better than some of my 3" 12ga's. Only down side to mine is it's a heavy gun to carry in the mountains.
