Used Taurus 605

I have a line on a barely used Taurus 605 SS with 2" barrel. I've done my google and really can't find anything negative about this particular model from Taurus.

I was hoping to get some input from forum members here who may own one as to their honest thoughts on the handgun and it's current value.

I liked mine. Not bad with .38 Specials, quite "snappy" with .357 Magnums. Current value, I've no idea. Good carry gun. I say go for it.

I second this. I shot one with some hot .357 reloads.....very snappy, indeed.

I was looking at one of these before I bought the Smith 360pd. From the reviews I read it seemed to be a nice little gun.

Can't speak for the 605, but I have an old 66 that's been great, 856 snubby that needed to go back to Taurus for canted barrel and timing issues (they made it right) and a 608 that has been a great gun.

Don't be scared of Taurus, especially picking it up cheap.

Those are going for around $350.00 give or take, brand new.

You would have to price your according the level of wear in the item. Not bad little guns for the money.
