    Groundhog Day. She brings the same bill up every year. The same arguments are made about how it makes no sense and the bill dies. Look for the same bill to come out again next year and the year after that....

    This. It's an emotional issue for Dumais. Ok.

    But she doesn't understand that the Yahoo was bound and determined to commit death-murder-kill.

    I doubt she cares much about anything except racking up points with her base by BS virtue signaling.

    Except that crime (including home invasions) is steadily increasing out her way, so her constituents may be unpleasantly surprised when they finally break down and try to buy a gun to defend themselves... :innocent0

    It's all about emotions to them. Actual facts don't matter.

    Very little moves people like fear.

    37 days to obtain a handgun - her constituents might not like that.

    But some just might have a shotgun to loan - oh, wait...
