    Recent lecture by Pompeo describes Chinese Communists working direct connections to US Governors in "partnerships" . It goes further than simple business or trade. It gets into political activism by the Chinese government at state and local level.

    lol, you beat me to it. He's bed in with the Koreans, not the Chinese. Literally. :)

    Second, the Chinese are a major trade partner. You can't just snub and tell them to FO; that's basically political malpractice.

    Third, the way they infiltrate isn't through giving a talk at a meeting, it's through stuff like this:

    Just had a mention on I believe Tucker about how California is using their pension fund by “investing” in Chinese companies that deal in military shipbuilding and military bases. Isn’t there a federal law against that?

    "Were" a major trade partner. The Corona virus situation might change the world more in the next 6 months than in the last 50 years and the supply chain from China is already falling apart.
