    You're right it doesn't make any sense. This very situation was brought up in the Judiciary Committee back in '13 . ie Maryland being a narrow state, and people from adjacent areas of neighboring states regularly crossing over to hunt, and shoot in matches at Maryland located Clubs, which themselves had many members living in the adjacent state. But no go. Our side unable to insert language to allow for temprary sporting use. It was the legislative intent of the forces of evil to prevent visiting sportsmen from using evil rifles.

    Thank you all for your help and info that you have shared. It is very helpful in making our decision. We have decided to move to PA (where I found work) and she is going to commute into MD.

    I do plan on staying active on here as I have found a lot of good info and you all have been very helpful.
