successful Florida gator hunt

On the 3rd day of Florida gator hunt, my brother-in-law & his son, ended up with a 12' & 11'1" gator.

Received the following email today:

FINALLY got the video on you tube.

Took almost one hour with the fishing rod, then dad was able to shoot with the crossbow. Then I used a bangstick with .44 mag, too put it to sleep, yes two hits.

My brother-in-law & his son went, Jim only drew two tags in the lottery. They went with Central Florida Trophy Hunts.

To end up with a 12' & 11' 1" gator is just amazing! The outfitter told them, they have never had that type of success. They left the dock at 1700 and 2030 returned with those monsters.

About 5 years ago, Jim drew three tags. I ended up with the 3rd tag, largest was just 8' and that was two days of hunting. At that time, we went with outfitter who is an acquaintance of Jim.

Imagine using a fishing rod to get the guy close to launch a heavier line from a crossbow.
