If Google play store won't provide the app, can gunbroker offer the app on their website directly, or is Google blocking it from installing on Android smartphones as well? If yes, I do believe Google is violating the constitution, since they are preventing me as an android user from doing legal business on my phone due to their political beliefs.
Also, How much would we loose if Google stopped reviewing apps for malicious code embedded in the app? I can see that as a potential for doing great harm if the app on gunbroker were to be hacked from outside.
