Steyr AUG Parts Kits

Just a heads up that Atlantic has AUG parts kits in stock. Sadly, all of the surplus mags appear to be OOS

How would one obtain a receiver ? Are there 80%'s or something? Seems like a challenging build

don't hold me to it, think there was some receivers "years ago"
they weren't cheap... like I said don't hold me to it. they break
dwn pretty simple / easy they may be on the same build level
as MP5, would think...MP5 / HK's are not that hard to build.
but you'd have to ask some-one in the business that handles
Aug's / parts. Clips are out there but $$$ also for the original

Not worth it unless you have a full auto rifle. Most parts are not compatible with the semi autos. Plus no spare relievers on the market to build one from. I got one of the spares from that group buy a year ago and there were only 32 available.

I was thinking in terms of spare parts...are you guys saying that the parts in these kits aren't compatible with a semi-AUG? It hadn't occurred to me that they wouldn't be.

Yes most of the parts are not compatible. Stock, fire control group. Bolt carrier group I think and other miscellaneous parts are different. Steyr did this on purpose to keep people from converting rifles to full auto
