They will transfer on Form 3s. $260 + $50 NFA transfer + $200 tax is $510 out the door for an SBS 590A1. Not bad at all.

Make sure I already bought one before you post my links. :D

I posted this before you even woke up and looked at Sturm this morning. :)

Here is a picture of my 2 law enforcement trade in SBS's.

A Benelli M1 and a Mossberg 590A1. Both with 14" barrels and ghost ring sights.

They look good. Let's see a pic next the Serbu.

ericoak, who's doing $50 NFA transfers? I think the cheapest around me is at least $100!

Do you guys know how long the action tube is on the Mossberg SBS?

Never done a NFA sale/transfer before. I have a trust, how would I go about this?

You buy it from that guy and arrange a transfer at a local dealer who handles NFA stuff. That guy transfers it to your local dealer on a Form 3 (which is free) and your local dealer will transfer it to you on a Form 4, which is $200 plus whatever your local dealer charges for an NFA transfer.

Someone who wanted to avoid a HQL could form 1 for a similar price (need to cut and reattach the front sight as I doubt you'll find a factory 13" bbls for low enough.)
