As the title says I have a receiver that I owned prior to the 2013 ban and have just recently have a approved form 1 on it, so post ban. Does the 29" OAL rule apply to my new build. I thought it did since the BATFE considers this "manufacture of a new firearm," and planned I to build it 29"+ but just wanted to be sure, since short rifles are awesome:party29:

Man, why did you do that? A Pre ban receiver turned into a SBR is now a post ban SBR receiver... Yes now the 29" OAL applies just like it would if you SBRed a newly purchased receiver. Should have just bought a new receiver to SBR.

I'm thinking since it wasn't an SBR before the ban took place, it is now a 'new gun'. So yes 29".
