Get the impression that Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore looked in the wrong box when they pulled out their samples and determined a sales price*? Most of what we're seeing posted from this purchase looks very good to excellent condition.

*(aside from not considering the bayonet lug, military provenance, etc that would also contribute to value)

    I love this thread!

    Looks awesome, dude!!!

Did the tape removed from the stock have any writing on it? I’ve seen some that had unit numbers written on tape.

And don’t worry, if you got two you’d be mad you didn’t get four. Ask me how I know

    What year is it?

The Buyer’s Remorse Multiples Agony is a hoot!

I also bow down to the “Original National Gangsta” engraving. To hell with commemorative engravings, these big ONG armory billboards on the receiver are modern art!

    I...want...to...touch...it...

I am learning a ton as a bystander. Thanks for this.

And also what the ONG (or whomever the selling govt agency was, I heard it was a state prison) was thinking when they priced these for wholesale. They must have let them go for $100 a unit or less.

Next time we buy out an Armory you gotta get in on it!! I guarantee more Armory deals will be materialize now that the market demand has been revealed. Prolly at higher pricing though.

My folder serial number begins S398XXXV which is one of the highest serials seen on a fixed stock gun according to the ARF thread. Someone did get a fixed stock with S401XXXV so I’m sure there are many higher numbered guns than mine out there that have not been reported on the ARF thread.

The folders are higher numbered, all so far start with S6xxxxxV.

MD guy has a folder on there at $850 right now.

Its me. I couldn't justify keeping it for the little bit of sentimental value I had vs what they are selling for.

Like I said I bought one cuz I carried it as my entry weapon in my VICE days. I always thought it was cool but actually hated wielding it. I tried to want to love it after my buying it, a forced love, but since it wasn't THE ONE I carried and didn't have my department stamp, i couldn't hold on to it after seeing what they were selling for.

Also knowing the mark-up I couldn't list it here.

MDS discount get it down to 400??

Lol yup gun $400 with a $500 Christmas donation to my kiddo.

That’s why i couldn’t list it here, I’m taking advantage of the market, on a gun i can’t bring myself to love, and would feel bad doing it here

To keep it real i regret not buying the fixed stock, i like that one way better
