    Found this book online late last night and figured I'd share it with everyone here. It's a pretty interesting read and goes to show the more things change, the more they stay the same. For a book written 100 years ago, it is amazing how far we've really come. Probably the thing that interested me the most is how the author approached the idea of guns with an internal hammer and how it was percieved to be too dangerous back then. No one would think that now, since it's so common. In fact, it's the exact opposite today. Funny how time works.

    I have an original copy. You will also want to read The Modern Shotgun, also by Charles Askins. Both are important books.
