PA passed a new law last year that may be something to keep an eye on. The law changes the voting ballot so that you cannot vote for a party. You can still vote for all D or all R but you have to do it individually.

The Dems came up with this saying that independents and minorities were being disenfranchised by the old system. However, this may come back to bite them in the ass by causing people to put a little thought into voting for once.

    One can only hope.

Could Dems be any more insulting? They’re saying that independents and minorities are too stupid to vote properly. Unreal

They’ve said for decades that minorities aren’t competent to handle their own lives without government help and that doesn’t seem to have hurt them.

It is a bit of a lie for them to use that reason. Most states that allow a party line vote are red or purple. And in most of those cases it’s usually GOP voters that are more likely to vote party line.

That’s why they want to ban that ability and make you vote for each individual options rather than checking the D or the R box. They are hoping to pickup a few votes.

IIRC, years ago when someone pulled the vote party line and then tried to vote for someone else in a lower race, that invalidated the entire ballot.
