But...but...it was a gun-free zone!?! Damned oppressors probably didn't advertise well enough that guns weren't cool so they surely asked for it.

I'm going to go weep into my pillow now because our elected officials and the rules they pass aren't respected and followed like they were the [the word 'gospel' was here, but was removed so nobody would be offended].

Now, let's approach this problem with liberal thinking...

Obviously, the "gun free zone" signs didn't work. But why? Let's fund a study to determine which fonts and color combinations send the "gun free zone" message most effectively. Were the robbers maybe not native English speakers? Perhaps multilingual signs are needed! Do the signs have Braille translations? We need to be more inclusive, and sensitive to ALL special needs groups who might resort to criminal activity because of their downtrodden economic status.

We CAN make "gun free zone" signs work! We just need to keep trying over and over again, no matter how much they fail.

Agreed!!! Let's petition a study for, lets say, 500 million dollars to study this.

    You're not trying hard enough.

    1) punish the innocent (pass more laws regulating guns)
    2) increase the number of gun free zones
    3) increase the size of the existing gun free zones
    4) repeat steps 1-4

No the problem is that there are still guns out there held by crazy people. We obviously need to disallow gun ownership.

Maybe the same study that braille on drive up ATMs was warranted. :innocent0
