Never let a tragedy go to waste.

State Speaker of the House in Massachusetts already introducing another bill that will only affect law-abiding citizens. The list of goodies:

* bans private sales; all sales must go through an FFL
* discretion left to local police chiefs with licensing shotguns and rifles
* requires owners to list every gun every time they renew their license
* Adds the state to a nationwide criminal background check

Hey, it only makes sense, a guy on the other coast is batshiite crazy, police visit him, he comes to the attention of local mental health officials, he kills three people first with a knife and then, in one of what is already one of the most firearms repressive states, he shoots people with weapons he has and runs some over with his car. So Massachusetts officials have no choice except to further restrict law abiding firearm owners in that state.

Also, believe the CA perp had lots of "safe" 10 round magazines, since everyone knows they will make everyone safer. Unfortunately, he probably had a duffel bag full of loaded 10 round mags.

New law: 5 round mag limit. (Take that NY/Cuomo/Bloomberg)

In my old country if you were even lucky enough to get a gun permit you were limited to 25 rounds of ammo in your possession.
