I have 2 Romanian and 1 Yugo Toks 7.62x25 cal. and love them.
It seems 9mm conversion barrels are expensive if you can find them.?
I could not pass up this deal. A Norinco mod 213 in 9mm , not c&r. Came with box, 2 mags & cleaning rod. It shoots great but without the fire n fury of its C&R brothers. The safety sucks big time as it pulls back for taking it off safe. I have not tried it but am curious about switching the 9mm barrel to one of the toks. I dont use the safety on these hammered range guns anyway so the question just for the interest.
I will see physically how it fits when I can introduce him to his older brothers (my guns are male by the way lol). Here's a crappy cell pic. uploadfromtaptalk1434643527741.jpg

Love me some Chinese Toks. I have about 5-6. One thing to look for is the slide serations. If they are vertical they are older, the later ones were slanted like that. Additionally, some of the old imports with the vertical serrations were retired military weapons. They can have chinese charaters onthe top of the slide and a date on the frame. Those were originally Type 54 Tokarev, that were modified for US import.

Here is what I am talking about:

    And another one

Here is a VERY rare Chinese Type 51, that was redone by norinco.

Lastly, You can always get a Pakastani Tokarev

It will interchange with he correct bushing. Should fit with the 9mm barrel bushing, but when you ad a 9mm barrel to a 7.62, you need a larger 9mm bushing

Also, moron of stopped importing those in the 90s. They are just new old stock NOS

This norinco 213 is supposed to be a TT clone. The blue book says it was only imported in 1983. uploadfromtaptalk1434752336099.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1434752393268.jpg

    ?
I have done the barrel swap, the 213s 9mm barrel will fit in the regular tok if you hone out the bushing to fit or get a 9mm bushing from ebay or similar. The 7.62 barrel will not fit the 213 without modding the slide substantially. The regular 7.62 mags will fit 9mm just fine.

    ?
if the mags in the 213 are the thin 9mm magazines and your magwell has a spacer, the skinny mags sell for around 50 bucks a piece on ebay.
