Never came across this one before. Finally a Desert Eagle you can carry....

Anyone ever shoot one?

Never shot one, but Hal at the Armory had one in the back he brought out and let me dick around with about 2 months back. Surprisingly it felt pretty good in my hand, and I do plan on buying one in the near future just for the novelty of it.

I have been looking at the .380 defensive carry pistols and i think i will probably go with the sig.

I love my LCP. Slip it in your pocket, and nobody is any wiser....

At the time I was looking for a .380, the Micro Eagle wasn't on the MD approved list yet. Has it made it there yet?

Yes it has been 'Not Disapproved' by the MSP for sale in Maryland. I dont think the MSP would approve of someone saying they approve of a firearm in civilians' hands.

Combat Handguns had a review of it around May. They seemed to like it. Then again, I doubt they've ever met a gun they didn't like.

Personally, I'd rather go with a PF-9 or PM9. It's hard to justify .380 given the lack of stopping power and almost impossible-to-find ammo.

Actually, for me, my animal like paws, and severe lack of coordination make anything smaller than a full-size anything out of the question, but I kinda like it nonetheless. Maybe I can convince by better half that she needs one.....

And that Sig looks sweet, I'm coming around to them in general....
