I love the Marlin 39's, so much that I have 4 of them.
1947 Marlin 39
1954 Marlin 39
1968 Marlin 39A
2010 Marlin 39A
My issue is with my 2 older models. both seem to have feeding issues when the round is pulled from the tube magazine and moving it into the chamber.
It seems the bullet is never guided "dead-center" into the chamber. My 2 newer ones feed without ever an issue with either.
Is there a local gunsmith that specializes in work on the 39''s that anyone can recommend ?
BTW- I've already cleaned them like my mother used to clean a kitchen, so not caused by crud buildup.
thanks in advance.
