    Here we go again...

Just do what you're going to do and STFU about it.

With everyone talking about it, I wouldn't be at all surprised if building for you own use is the first thing banned by the ATF.

I've said it a thousand times. Time for a thousand and one.

We are our own worst enemy. Because we can't STFU!

Hmm, so we should petition BATFE to take down their FAQ that mentions this?

It is not exactly a secret.

Have you seen the number of companies selling 80% lowers and jigs? I'm sure ATF is very much aware of it.

Has nothing to do with being a secret.

Has to do with flaunting it.

The Antis are about to stick it in us and break it off without so much as a reach around.

They want guns gone. Especially EBRs.

Do you really think they want people making guns that aren't traceable or registerable?

All I'm saying is why continue to shine a light on the subject. It doesn't do us any good.

Milling aluminum with a router what is the best bit to use?

I have heard 1/4 end mill with as short of flutes as you can get. you can do the sides sooner the shorter the flutes. 80% arms sells a nice one.

The OP didn't say anything about manufacturing a firearm. Everyone's up in arms because the first REPLY was to look at "80% lowers".

Of course we're 'up in arms'...this here is a guns/shooting forum. Not a metal working forum.

My point was everyone was 'up in arms' because of what the second poster said, and everyone's spun up as if the OP had said it.

The OP could be machining a part to a firearm. ;)

Yeah I was just foolin about.:D
