Need someone (or two) to come by and put together seven metal shelving units for me. You must have your own rubber mallet. I don't have one. I started this project yesterday and my one year old lost his mind. When I am home he wants me with him at all times. It makes projects like this unbearable for everyone in the house.

Five units will be put together in the basement, the other two will go in the garage. All seven units are currently in the garage. They are heavy and have sharp edges so you may want to wear work gloves.

I can help with moving the items if there is only one of you but will be working from home tomorrow so I don't plan on assisting/supervising.

Photos to follow in next post.

I will give you a hand. I just put up a half dozen free-standing shelves last week. Have rubber mallet, will travel...

I would not try to lug the boxes downstairs. Just open and carry manageable pieces downstairs. Takes longer but easier on everything.

Great system. Bought mine at Costco. I have at least 10 of them in various locations around the property. In lieu of a rubber mallet, I used a block of wood between the rails and hammer.
