What DNR card? The actual physical Hunter safety card not the temp one?
I haven't received my permanent card and I wasn't too worried about it because I submitted a copy of temp card and a copy of signed temp card.
Submitted my app 11/15. Still waiting.
edit -- mine was submitted with training exemption.
Trooper was mixing up terminology, I suppose. When I spoke to him I asked him about the "Texas DNR card" , but he went on to say that he needed to just see the Texas hunter safety certification which I can only guess was the "Texas DNR" that he was referring to. He initially only reviewed 1 of 2 docs I sent him. First page was the form letter, second page was the TX temp cert card. When I spoke to him he reviewed the second page and approved

Applied 11/15.
Got a call earlier today stating they needed a copy of hunter safety course card. Said they called DNR but couldn't find anything with my name. I said it was Texas DNR so that's why.
Sent copy of card via email, HQL listed as active an hour later.

Approved today. Started 11/11/2016. DD-214 training exempt.
Now it's just a matter of waiting on the card.
I think I know what I'm doing this weekend
Received in the mail today...33 days total.
Does the card come in a standard envelope? I was approved 12/7 but still waiting on my card.

Submitted Oct. 25 and approved Nov. 15th. Card came in the mail ~3 days later.
