If you could get only one Toolcraft BCG which one would it be and why?
I ordered a Toolcraft Nickel Born BCG and received it in the mail yesterday and installed it in my Del-Ton Rifle yesterday as well. Planing to get to the range this week to see how it does and will let you all know.
Interested to see the feedback that I get on this. I ask because with all the knowledge that is here I wish to learn and keep learning as well.
    Thanks

    Columbia
Phosphate BCG with Carpenter 158 steel bolt. Too many potential issues with nickel boron.

Well it seems i brought a bad bcg and I am going to see if i can exchange it for a different one that people here recommend. Anyone have a large towel for me to wipe the egg off my face????

Won't say that is bad, it is a toolcraft. The issue with NiB is well documented but as long as you lube it you should be fine. Well as long as it headspaces and really that is one of the main issues with coated anything, the maker has to make sure they have allowed a tolerance for the coating.

In any event, you should check the headspace before firing it with a new BCG, even if it is a Toolcraft. Tolerances do vary. Better to know than hope.
