The bathrooms are open. We are installing a new bathroom facility in the next few months. It will be a CXT Tioga Special system.

^ What ENSF said. Bathrooms are open, though I'd bring TP JIC. And hand sanitizer, as there's no flowing water or provided sanitizer. Also, for those that didn't know, there are now two decks for shooting clays.

Speaking of shooting clays, I wandered over to the shotgun area for the first time on my last visit and was absolutely shocked to see this crap. Jesus people, have a little dignity and clean up after yourselves.

Yeah, from what I recall, the cases are permitted there, I heard something about them coming in on occasion to massively pull out a few bucket-loaders full and send them somewhere for recycling/repurposing. THe boxes, though, are abhorent. I unfortunately know one of the people responsible. Even took a clay box and tossed it, shot it, then shot it up on the ground to 'see what happens.' I said what I could, but even in a situation like that, I wasn't going to go ont a live range to clean up after the hooligans...

I feel bad, though, because I should have done something... Let me know if yall plan on doing a group clean up and I'll be there.

Some people are real slobs. Maybe it was my time in the Boy Scouts, but it doesn't take much to clean up after yourself. That being said, I'm sure all of us here clean up when we're done. IMO, one of the best things we can do is set a good example for the other shooters.

Those shells are cleaned up multiple times per year. We have to store the spent casings as no one including the landfill wants them for obvious concerns. We even sought out the company that makes ornamental lights out of them. We would have to pay the shipping to send them off site.

Any help is appreciated as the next step is a rule change that counts them as trash implying they have to be policed and leave when the shooter leaves.

Sounds like they are trash already. It would be a good rule change to make shooters remove them.

It's a shame that some people think that paying the 10 bucks entitles them to being a Pig and leaving shit everywhere. The shotgun hulls are a disgrace and anyone leaving them is a SLOB.

Good thing most patrons I have seen at Elk Neck at least police their brass.

Just eliminate the clay shooting area as it really isn't worth anything other than the mess you receive. There are plenty of clubs around you can shoot clays at cheap!

Burning shells to help out Mother Earth?? did you ever stop to think about the toxic fumes burning plastic gives off? Plastic is derived from crude oil so if you dont know anyone who can recycle plastic back into fuel, then its best left on the ground or in storage.
