I didn't think AR10s were FSA2013 affected by name, other than mag, oal restrictions, and scary features.

nice, just a few months ago did my first build (assembly) of ar-15 in 224 valk using mega mkm upper/lower/extended forearm and yesterday ordered mega mkm maten upper/lower/extended forearm for either a 6 or 6.5 creedmoor build (jse surplus has a great price and just a few left if anybody's interested).

Nice build. I went with the jp low mass carrier and scs on my 308 build. Along with the adjustable gas block tuned with just enough gas to lock the bolt on a rifle length system, it’s a smooth shooting rifle. I’m a believer in jp products. The extra money is worth it.

I was wondering. I’m going to change out the carbine length buffer tube and stock for a rifle tube and some sort of rifle stock. I know you have to use the spacer that came with the scs to fit in the longer tube but did you have to add any extra spacers for the buffer to contact the back of the bolt carrier? I have heard some have had this issue and some have not.

Btw how do you like the stock you have on there?

IIRC the silent captured buffer spring came with a white plastic (delrin?) spacer I think that is inside there

I’ll pull it apart and refresh my memory

The stock is fine it’s not a great cheek weld but I do ok with it

Damn. That's a nice build. How's it shoot? Those proof barrels are the truth.
