DAMN!................you're as froggy as my coworker.
on a single stage press/Lyman "monkey grinder" trimmer at that! Okay, I have the "power shaft" attachment and a Hornady dual head hand held chamfer setup but still.

Yeah, I do have that masochistic streak in me XP

Did I also mention that I have couple of cat litter buckets of 7.62x51 to start on too.

After experiencing a squib in my Model 10 at the range last weekend, I pulled almost 200 hand loaded .38s to check the charges. They were loaded using my dad's equipment and I was very new to reloading. I found a few that were lighter than intended. Even so, the squib felt and sounded like it had no charge at all when fired. I relied upon the equipment to be accurate and did not check them as I should have. I must have failed to charge the case and admittedly, I was frequently distracted while using dad's equipment.

    Lesson learned!

Every charge was checked as it was reloaded on my equipment today, without distractions in the process.

After a Long Hiatus from reloading I got my press back in order. Of course last month when I was getting ready my scale was not Zeroing properly. Ordered an AutoTrickler setup and once it came in it was time. 1300 rounds of .45ACP done. Now on to LSWC as my Montana gold stock is all loaded up. And whoever thought up the idea of small pistol primers in .45ACP needs to be drawn and guartered...

Loaded my first Service Rifle precision rifle loads for my 223.

3 sets of 10 @ different charges under SMK77s. Now to get to the range and see which the rifle likes best.

    Made some short 10's

So I made up some short 10's for the rest of duck season.
10 Gauge 3 1/2" Federal hulls trimmed back to 2 7/8" then 1 1/2 oz of Bismuth in a Remington SP10 wad with PSB buffer. Roll crimped on the drill press.
Low pressure and really effective rounds for the old double guns.
Old school work ethic stuff, they take a while to make but I can't buy what I want off the shelf so...

1 layer of painters tape makes for a snug fit in the Dillon AT 500 powder die installed in the toolhead.

I'm considering getting a shell press so I can start doing my own thing with shotgun rounds for my KS7. I don't like how much the Aguila MiniShells compromise in velocity and pellet count, but would like to fit more shells into the magazine than the "recoil management" rounds at full size offer. The gun itself is so light that full power loads aren't comfortable for volume shooting. I'm thinking I'd like to play around with some 2" or 2-1/4" loads to fit more pellets or powder in.
